RE:  SVCC Dual Enrollment Placement Test

Attention to all Rising 10^th,11^th, and 12^th graders:

If you are interested in enrolling in Dual Enrollment classes at Kenston Forest School for the 2007-2008 school year, you must take and pass the SVCC Placement Test.  If you have not taken the test, you will be given the opportunity to take the Reading and Writing Placement Test at Kenston Forest School in the Library on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10:00 am or Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 10:00am.  Please pay attention to the following steps you must complete prior to taking the test:

• Complete the Southside Virginia Community College application. Visit the SVCC Website and go to the following link:
  http://www.sv.vccs.edu/about/admissions/forms/ 

• Download the application and enter the required information.  Make certain that you and your parent sign the application. 

• You must bring pencils and the completed application with you on the day of testing. 

• If you do not have the completed application with you, the SVCC Test Administrator will not allow you to take the test. 

 Please call Mrs. Mahaney at school or email her at pmahaney@kenston.org which date you plan to take the test.  Notify her no later than Thursday, July 19 2007.  Again, you must have a completed application with you on the day you test.
