PTO Happenings

Serving in the PTO is fun, rewarding and a great way to help meet the needs of
the school while meeting great parents, students and faculty.  You will be filled
with a sense of accomplishment and joy at what you can achieve through the PTO.
Your heart (and your child's) will swell with pride when you see the results of your
contribution to Kenston and our students.

How Can You Help?

There's something for everybody in the PTO.  There's a Two Hours of Power program
for folks who want to volunteer but can't commit to meetings and long projects.  We
promise that if you sign up for Two Hours of Power, we will gratefully (with no
strings attached) accept your help for...   two hours  Yes, two hours.  Unless you
volunteer for us again.  That's it.  For the whole year.

We have short-term projects with a clear start/end date.  These projects might
include working on a team for a particular fundraiser, or leading a community
service project, or serving refreshments at a school function.

We have larger, more long-term, on-going activities for those people who can
offer several hours a month.

So you see, we are a volunteer organization run by volunteers.  All kinds of
people can pitch in.  Everyone can offer their natural skills and talents and
God-given abilities to strengthen our effectiveness.  YOU can help!  You just need
to be willing.  To find out what you can do during the remainder of this year or
next year, contact a PTO Officer today!
