The Kavs overcame a 7 run deficit to triumph over the Brunswick Academy Vikings in a 12-7 victory on April 7th.
Leading the comeback win: JEB Buchanan, a junior, went 2 for 4 at the plate, with a double and a triple, and 4 RBI’s; Joseph Henry McCarthy, a senior, reached base 3 times (a double and two walks) and scored 3 runs, and Chance Whitehead, a sophomore, went 1 for 3 and drove in 3 RBI’s.
Junior Jeffrey Steele said it best: “We were down, but we never stopped believing in ourselves. We knew we could fight back and we did! We are getting more and more confidence.”
