In the semi-finals of VCC play the lady Kavaliers dominated Tidewater Academy’s Warriors 12-0 in 5 innings. Lydia Wrenn pitched a shutout allowing only 2 hits, 1 walk, and 4 SO. Brooke Mason went 3 for 3 at the plate. Lydia Wrenn went 1 for 2 with a sac for 2 RBIs. Mackenzie Coley had a sac fly to score an RBI. Haley Henshaw went 2 for 2. Josie Epperson went 2 for 3 with 4 RBIs. Cassie Beane went 1 for 2 with a sac bunt and 3 RBIs. Ally McComas went 1 for 2 with an RBI and Rebecca Hadley went 1 for 4 at the plate.

The Kavs face rival Southampton Academy on Saturday for the VCC championship, and State tournament play will begin next week with KFS ranked # 1.

The Kavaliers finished regular season 16-9 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
