The Kenston Forest School National Honor Society hosted the NHS 2019 Honor Pledge Signing Ceremony on September 24th in the KFS Gymnasium.  NHS Treasurer Haley King greeted the audience and NHS Senior Peyton Coleman introduced the guest speaker, Professor of Criminal Justice at Southside Virginia Community College, Dr. Alfonso Seward.  Dr. Seward is the head professor of Administration of Justice at SVCC.  He is also a part-time deputy sheriff for Brunswick County.  He served in the military and was a state trooper.  Dr. Seward, along with NHS Secretary Sydney Harmon and NHS Vice-President Nicholas Maione, talked to the Upper School students about honor and integrity.  All of the Upper School students and faculty signed the honor pledge and will abide by the KFS Honor Code, “I will not lie, cheat, or steal nor tolerate the actions of those who do.”
