The Kenston Forest golf team won its fourth consecutive VCC Conference golf title at Ft. Lee’s Cardinal Course by 19 strokes over runner-up Southampton Academy. Cole Hagaman, playing over a water-logged course, shot a tournament best 84 and earned Player of the Year honors. Kenston finished with a conference record of 14-6-1 and an overall record of 16-10-1. Kenston’s team included Cole Hagaman of Lunenburg, Tyler Borum of Blackstone, Sam Hodges of Kenbridge, Graham Hayes of South Hill, Colton Carter of Crewe, and Josh Coover of Petersburg. Kenston coaches, Keith Green and Dr. John Allen, were honored with the VCC Coaches of the Year awards.
